Wig Adhesive: How To Use It Effectively
Wigs have become a fashion trend in the recent years. You may come across youngsters, who have been wearing wigs of different style to suit their clothes or recent trend. Wigs are now prepared based on the preference pattern, texture and quality.
The methods of applying a lace front wig have also been simplified for the customers to use it without the supervision of an experienced person. For applying these wig one need to have the appropriate wig adhesive. There are two types of Wig Adhesive available in the market, the liquid glue and double side tape among which the liquid glue is the most preferred one.
The lace front wig and the lace wigs are the most famous among the other types of wig. These wigs have a strip of lace netted under the wig’s hairline that has to be attached by adhesive. To attach a wig properly you will require a paint brush or make up brush and lace release or adhesive remover. Before attaching the wig you need to make sure that the place around you is clean and the required things are within your reach. You also need to have a clean and dry face to avoid any kind of infection.
Your hair should be done properly to anchor the wig in place. Once you are prepared to apply the wig, lift the lace of the wig away from your skin and apply a very thin layer of wig adhesive on your forehead. Be careful not to smear it on your hair as the chemical in it could react and cause redness and irritation in the skin. After you have applied the glue, keep patting on the glue with a clean finger till the wig adhesive starts to stick to your finger.
As it starts to stick to the finger place the lace properly to your forehead. Apply considerable pressure to keep the lace in place. You also need to very patient while doing this for a little distraction can spoil all the effort. Thus anyone with a little patience can wear a wig.
