Kanekalon wig Synthetic Hair Extensions – Your Trick To Beautiful HairIf you are eager to get gorgeous hair within no time, synthetic hair extensions can help you to get that beautiful mane. This method can be applied if you want to make your hair longer. There are different types of hair extensions available. A hair extension can be of synthetic materials, human hair and a mix of synthetic and natural hairs. Synthetic hair extensions are much less costly than the natural human hair extensions. These extensions come in every possible colors and textures. A synthetic extension can look like natural hair or it can be extraordinary and wild. Kanekalon and Toyokalon are few of the most common synthetic extensions.

In case of synthetic extensions the colors are denoted by numbers. However every manufacturer offers a different set of patterns, shades and numbers. A variety of textures is available in synthetic extensions. Yaki is a common texture that resembles the Afro-Caribbean hairstyle. In case of European texture the hair is straight with minimal waves in it. The deep waves look like the spiral curls. The deep wave or the romantic wave lends softer, romantic curls. For an out-and-out afro look you can sport the Jheri curl. In case you want to sport the Spanish wave or Indian wave, it is better to go for human hair instead of synthetic hair extensions.

You should follow proper hair care regimen to ensure that the synthetic extensions stays put. You must use a milder shampoo for your hair. Each kind of synthetic extension comes with a different set of directions recommending the best methods to shampoo, comb and dry the extensions. Do not blow dry your hair in a higher temperature as it can melt the glue in your hair. It is vital that you follow these directions to maintain your synthetic tresses.

Synthetic Hair Extensions can transform your looks within a short time.

Is there any possible way to dye synthetic hair extensions?

Wednesday, 22. June 2011 20:00

Hi!
I just recently ordered some synthetic clip in hair extensions from ebay in blonde. My natural hair is more of a honey color and the extensions are a shade lighter (maybe like a light sand color). Is there any possible way to dye them a shade darker in blonde? Please! I’m totally desperate, they look so akward in my hair! Thanks!

i’m also getting extensions but theyre human hair, i’m sure google would have articles on dying synthetics but possibly try soaking them in coffee that might work but I really think trying to change the color wont work because the hairs are made from plasticy material and it would be like outting a plastic string into dye; it wont work. If you cant find anything try Sally beauty supplies brand hair extensions their human hair and around $80 but if you dont want to buy other ones try darkening your hair color! a nice change with new long hair. hope this helped!

Understanding the Causes and Treatments for Hair Loss

Monday, 6. June 2011 12:03

Anyone who has experienced a disease like alopecia can tell you that it is the emotional pain that hurts the most of all. Losing ones hair is like losing a part of your identity. Every time you take a shower a little piece of you goes down the drain. Your mind goes into a defensive mode and you want to stop the loss of hair any way you can. Suddenly, your life is dominated by constant thoughts of how to deal with your thinning mane. You turn to science and medicine in hopes of a cure, but their official answer goes something like this: nobody can stop the hair from falling out faster than it is growing back. They can tell you what the stars in a distant galaxy are made of but they cannot find a cure for hair loss. The cold reality of the situation is that there really is no cure for this problem. There are only ways to treat the symptoms of the disease and cover up the problem to make it look like there is no problem.

Some treatments of alopecia, or baldness are better than others. It all depends on how much money you are able to spend and how far you are willing to go with your commitment to battling your disease. Some men accept their fate and walk around bald and proud, while others take on the fight to reverse their fateful condition with a vigor and passion that would make you think their life depended on it. In the old days you just walked around bald unless you wanted to wear a wig or hat all the time. Now there are a few more choices to treat conditions and diseases of the hair and scalp.

If you happen to be one of those people who chooses to take advantage of the latest treatments available for hair loss, then your first step should be a trip to a dermatologist. A dermatologist deals with diseases and conditions of the hair and skin and they will be able to steer you in the right direction for treatment. They will do a thorough evaluation in an effort to find the specific cause of your hair loss. There are a lot of different factors that determine the causes of thinning hair such as diet, medications, family history, hair care habits and menopause to name a few. A dermatologist will ask you a series of questions, examine your scalp and take a few hair samples to put under a microscope for further analysis. They may also perform a blood test and a scalp biopsy if they feel it is necessary for an accurate diagnosis.

The most common cause of hair loss is a certain gene you can inherit from your mother or your father. In this case the disease is literally in your DNA and there is not much you can do about it. If you have a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle that has/had a problem with baldness then you are definitely at risk of having a problem too. The good news is that you can be ready to attack the problem right away if you know that your family has a baldness gene. Also, the mental anguish will be less if you prepare yourself psychologically ahead of time.

Hereditary balding can happen to women as well as men, but it is much less common. The official name of this disease is androgenetic alopecia and it can also afflict young women in their teenage years. This disease usually does not result in complete baldness with women. As is the case with men, there is no cure for womens baldness. However, there are some very good treatments available these days and women are much better off regarding alopecia then they were just twenty years ago.

Another thing that causes baldness is poor hair care. Constant bleaching, dying, shampooing, straightening, combing and brushing can do damage to hair and follicles which leads to an excessive amount of hair falling out. A relentless use of pony tails and braids can also cause this to happen due to the constant pulling.

Once you have received your diagnosis from your dermatologist you will be ready to take advantage of the treatments that are available for hair loss. Minoxidil is a lotion that is used on the scalp. Both men and women can use this lotion and both have seen positive results. Propecia, or finasteride is a pill that men can take several times a day to block the hormone that causes alopecia with most males. There have been some very positive results with men who have used Propecia and it is the most widely used treatment. Both of these products can be purchased at any brick and mortar pharmacy store. You can buy Minoxidil over the counter and Propecia can be purchased with a prescription. Propecia can also be purchased safely and securely online at an online pharmacy. This way you can have your Hair loss product delivered right to your door which saves you the embarrassing trip to the local pharmacy where you run the risk of experiencing an awkward moment in public.

Getting a hair transplant is another option that is available for anyone seeking treatment for their thinning hair condition. This is definitely the more expensive and most ambitious choice. You have to be very serious about looking good to take on this option, for it requires actual surgery where they cut a strip of your scalp from the back of your neck at the bottom of the hairline. The idea is that you have an overabundance of hair on the back of your head so that area is not going to miss it if you cut a little strip away. The donor strip is then harvested of its follicles. The follicles are then surgically implanted on the bald areas of the scalp so that you will have your own actual hair growing in that area again. After surgery is performed it then takes a few months before you see any positive results.

Human beings can put enough information to fill a large library on a computer chip the size of a pinhead but they still have not discovered a cure for hair loss. Losing your hair may be inevitable, but there are ways to get some of them back. It may be in your DNA that your hair will start to thin, but fret not. There are a lot more choices these days for treatment than your poor ancestors had only a couple of decades ago. Science and medicine can help you out if you are willing to apply a lotion to your scalp, take a pill a couple times a day or go under the knife. You can be on your way to a thick head of hair again, depending on your bank account and your level of commitment.

How to Clip In Hair Extensions & BaByliss Clip-In Hair Extension Review

0 How to Clip In Hair Extensions & BaByliss Clip In Hair Extension Review★ . * * .. ☾ °☆ ¸. * ●Please Read Me! :3 ¸ . ★ ° :. * . • ○ ° ★ . *

Hello! I finally got hair extensions and decided to get the BaByliss ones.

I rate them 3/5 because:
1. They are synthetic,
2. They take a while to curl and you can’t use higher than 180 degrees,
3. The ends can look straggly and thin, but curling it helps,
4. They don’t keep a curl as much as your normal hair would.
But for the Pro’s
5. They look really natural,
6. They blend in really nicely,
7. They are good for their price,
8. I love them even though they are synthetic, but they will do for now :3

They are really quick and easy to apply and clip in.

Where to get them and colours available:

I am giving my honest review on them and how to clip them in.

What To Do About Your Hair Loss

Sunday, 29. May 2011 21:12

Many people suffer from or worry about hair loss. In fact, almost two-thirds of men will experience this at some point in their lives. However, one has to realize that it is a natural occurrence to everyone and usually is not a cause for alarm. Your hair falls out daily and then grows again as part of its natural growth cycle.

It is a cause for alarm, however, when the hair loss is more severe and does not seem to be growing back. In this case, it is time to go see a doctor to try and find a solution. However, realize that though some Hair Loss Treatments may work for some, they may not work for others, and in fact there is no real guarantee that any of these treatments will work.

There are many reasons for hair loss—it may be certain medications, illness, or hormone imbalance in your body. You can start off by trying some natural remedies, supplements or shampoo. But with severe hair loss, it is probably a good idea to go see a doctor and get medication. There are several medications that can help stop or slow your loss such as Rogaine or its generic name Minoxidil, which is an over-the-counter topical medication that seems to be quite effective. It is applied to the scalp and massaged in, but it may take up to six months to see any positive results. Another popular drug is Propecia or generic name finasteride, and is available only by prescription. It is in pill form and has to be orally taken, and again, takes up to six months for any results to show.

Other than trying medications, you can also try restyling your hair to make your baldness less obvious. For example, men with baldness on top of their head can comb the remaining hair on either side over the top to cover the bald patch.

If the bald patch is too obvious, then probably something more concealing may work better, such as a wig or toupee. Wigs or toupees nowadays are much better made than those years ago. Wigs today are also less obvious as they can be made with human or good quality artificial hair.

If you are experiencing Hair loss, then time is of essence. You should seek the help of a doctor right away. There are plenty of treatment options that will help stop your hair loss and allow it to grow back again.
